I am obsessed with storytelling and the collaboration that makes it possible. This passion has taken me from Howard University’s School of Communications to The New School’s M.S. Media Management program where I focused my studies on content production, distribution, and deal-making.

I explore what I love through my work, leaving PR agency life behind to set up shop in a documentary film studio, modern dance company, and world-class museum as a digital marketing manager. After nearly a decade in the city, I’ve become a true New Yorker with an entrepreneurial streak—freelance writing for a variety of culture and lifestyle publications and independently producing and co-hosting the Joblogues podcast.

When I log off, I spend my time watching too much television and film (let’s call it narrative research!) and flipping houses with my newly minted husband.

Writing is my first love—a gateway drug to the complex campaigns I work on everyday. Read a few of my editorials for online magazines [Ebony, Afropunk.com, Madame Noire] and corporate clients [Getty Images, MediaStorm], plus a few articles featuring insights from yours truly.
